Does brow lamination damage my brows?
When performed by a trained esthetician and followed by proper aftercare, brow lamination is a safe treatment. We also recommend allowing at least 6–8 weeks between laminations.
Can I still get brow lamination if I have thin brows?
Yes. Brow lamination can help create the illusion of fuller brows by lifting and redirecting your natural brow hairs. Your esthetician can also recommend additional services if desired.
What is a brow tint?
A brow tint is a semi-permanent colour applied to the brow hairs to enhance their depth and definition. It helps create the appearance of fuller brows and can be customized to complement your natural colouring.
Will the tint stain my skin?
A slight stain on the skin is normal and helps create a fuller-looking brow. The skin stain typically fades within a few days, while the colour on the brow hairs lasts several weeks.
How long do the results last?
Brow Lamination: 6–8 weeks
Brow Tint: 3–6 weeks, depending on your skin type, skincare routine, and sun exposure.
When can I get my brows wet?
Keep your brows dry for the first 24 hours after your brow tint and 24–48 hours after brow lamination for the best results.
Can I wear makeup after my appointment?
Yes, but wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup directly to the brow area.
Can I have my brows laminated and/or tinted if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Hormonal changes can affect treatment. Check with your doctor to see if this service is safe for you.
AFTERCARE
Brow Tint Aftercare
To help your brow tint last as long as possible:
Keep brows completely dry for the first 24 hours.
Avoid cleansing, steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, and excessive sweating during this time.
Refrain from rubbing or touching the brows.
Avoid oil-based cleansers, exfoliants, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and benzoyl peroxide directly on the brow area, as these can cause the tint to fade more quickly.
Apply sunscreen daily to protect the colour from UV exposure.
Brush brows gently into place as needed.
Results typically last 3–6 weeks, depending on your skin type, skincare routine, and sun exposure.
Brow Lamination Aftercare
Proper aftercare helps maintain the shape and longevity of your laminated brows.
For the first 24–48 hours:
Keep brows completely dry.
Avoid steam, saunas, hot tubs, swimming, and strenuous exercise.
Do not apply makeup or skincare products directly to the brow area.
Avoid sleeping face down or placing pressure on your brows.
After 48 hours:
Brush brows daily with a clean spoolie to maintain their shape.
Keep brows nourished with a conditioning serum or brow oil if recommended by your esthetician.
Avoid excessive exfoliation, retinol, acids, or oil-based products directly on the brows.
Schedule your next lamination every 6–8 weeks to maintain healthy brows and optimal results.
