Registered Massage Therapists

La Palma Spa is currently seeking experienced and dedicated registered massage therapists to become a part of our exceptional team. If you want to get excited about coming to work, feel supported in your workplace, and have fun along the way, we would like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.).

  • Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided.

  • Contract Part-Time positions available.

  • Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy that possess the right qualities, as well as demonstrate an innate talent for, and understanding of, therapeutic massage.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2,200 massage therapy hours, full association membership, and a valid City of Calgary business licence.

  • Licensed/certified and authorized to provide massage therapy services.

  • In good standing with your provincial massage therapy association.

  • Current professional liability insurance.

  • Strong knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.

  • Additional modalities such as cupping, hot stones, lymphatic techniques, etc. are an asset.

  • A genuine belief in the benefits of massage therapy and a passion for helping guests feel their best.

  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.

  • Professional, motivated, dependable, and positive.

  • Empathetic, respectful, and committed to following spa policies and procedures.

  • A true team player who is willing to lend a helping hand and contribute beyond their own treatment room.

Available Shifts

  • Tuesday: FULL DAY / 10AM - 2PM / 2PM - 7PM

  • Wednesday: FULL DAY / 10AM - 2PM / 2PM - 7PM

  • Thursday: 9:30AM - 3PM / 3PM - 9PM

  • Friday: Every other, 10-3PM / 3PM - 9PM

  • Saturday: Rotating every other, 9:45AM - 3PM / 3PM -7PM
